Peanut Blossoms--Kiss Cookies

Tried and true Christmas cookie plate favorite!

1 3/4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. shortening
1/2 C. peanut butter
1/2 C. sugar
1 egg
2 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend sugar, eggs, & shortening. Add the rest of the ingredients. Shape into balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
Top immediately with candy kisses.
