On your website or a Google doc:

Let people know the details about how to order BOGOs during the upcoming BOGO week. It would be good to include:

  • A short video on how to order + maximize the perks during BOGO week, and…

  • A simple step-by-step process on how to simply setup their account for BOGO week (so those who aren’t members yet understand the advantages & exactly how to get BOGOs

Make space on your calendar:

To truly hit BOGO week out of the park (which you totally can) - make space on your calendar for at least 1-2 hrs each day of BOGOs. Are there things you can do ahead of time to make BOGO week easier? Try planning your meals, getting up earlier (before your kids) so you can be inspired & not rushed with your BOGO maximizing tasks!

Take advantage of this opportunity to restructure your team:

This BOGO week presents a unique + incredible opportunity to restructure your team - move people around into positions that make more sense to you. How? If you have a customer who hasn’t purchased on their account in 6 months or more they can send an email to placements asking for a new sponsor before they place their next order.

👉 How do you find the people eligible for these restructuring moves? Here are the steps:

  1. Go to Detailed Genealogy

  2. Under Organization header:
    - Set focus ID to yours
    - Sort levels 0 - 1
    - Select Enroller Tree

  3. Under Columns: Be sure that email, last order date & sponsor ID are checked

  4. Under Filters: Select All

  5. Click Update.

  6. Now sort by clicking the 'last order date' column header. Look for people that haven't ordered since 6 months prior to the current month.

  7. Copy/paste their data into a spreadsheet. Now your set to work with only those contacts.

👉 What do you do with the people you find who are eligible to move? Send them an email similar to the following [BEFORE BOGOS START]:

Something like this ... (MAKE SURE THEY SEND THIS EMAIL BEFORE THEIR NEXT PURCHASE)

“Hi! Our BOGO (buy one get one free) sale is happening this week & if you’re ready to stock up on some oils again I’d love to get your customer account moved into a better spot in my organization so you can continue to be best supported in your education! If I sent you a quick email to simply copy & paste to this email address BEFORE you order next week I would so appreciate it! It’s important that you do this BEFORE placing any BOGO orders next week.”

And then this is what you’ll send them (with the appropriate info filled in):

“Please copy/paste the following into an email to placements@doterra.com:
Dear Placements, My account, ID#________ has been inactive for over 6 months and I would like to request (name of new sponsor and ID # ) to be my new Sponsor. Thank you!”


💡 TIP: Many leaders have more success by offering a free peppermint touch or something of similar value to any customers that do this. This strategy can make a big difference, especially if the people you’re sending this to are in legs of your tree that have an inactive wellness advocate at the top. You can move people under legs of wellness advocates who are active - this helps them & you!

 

 Create excitement around an exclusive BOGO Facebook Group:

 

You can run this as a group for only your personal customers.
If you have a small team, you could also extend the invitation to your downline.

How to run this group:

✅ Make it “private”

✅ Invite your contacts PERSONALLY (no group texts/emails/etc). Once they say they’d like to participate THEN you can individually add each of them to the group

✅ Post about your group on social media to let enrolled/ warm customers know and to message you to be added to your group.

✅ Post something like this on the group wall after adding everyone: “Welcome to all my new members… more magical details coming soon as to why I’ve just added you to this special private VIP exclusive group ”

✅ Save yourself time by scheduling posts ahead of time for the week {great tips on how to do this HERE}

✅ Get the crowd excited with some fun posts (3 to 6 is great) prior to BOGOs starting. These can be a combination of memes, conversation starters, & oil tips

✅ Set your alarm & post the daily BOGO deal EARLY each day. If corporate gives Wellness Advocates a heads up about the next day’s BOGO, you might be able to schedule your post the night before to save time.

✅ Post PERSONAL tips about how you actually use the particular oils being highlighted each BOGO day. Use your resource books for even more ideas.

✅ Do a Facebook live video every day (try to make it the same time each day if possible). This creates interaction & excitement - which is contagious!

✅ Keep interaction high each day by posting 2-4 times daily

✅ DO GIVEAWAYS! These don’t need to be expensive (i.e. inexpensive oils you purchased with LRP points). One giveaway each day is plenty…can be for everyone who purchased the BOGO that day (have them post their order confirmation in the comments of the daily BOGO post announcement)

✅ No need to reinvent the wheel. Once you’ve created the VIP group, you can use it next time BOGOs roll around! Just add all your new personal enrollments + warm customer prospects. Do this every time a few days prior to the BOGO beginning.

Create a “Pinned Post” at the top of the FB Group:

WHO IS THIS VIP GROUP FOR?

  1. My personal customers

  2. Anyone who is not currently enrolled in doTERRA that’s interested in learning + having special access to promotions (only if you’re not already working with another doTERRA leader)

WHAT TO EXPECT HERE?

2-3 times a year we have a special BOGO (Buy One, Get One FREE) promotion. During the active BOGO week there will be daily posts. There’s typically one BOGO each day, for 5 days. We’ll announce the BOGO of the day each morning. We’ll also have daily FB LIVE broadcasts with education/Q+A on the many ways you can use the BOGO of the day.

DETAILS FOR THE BOGO PROMO:

The BOGO will be different each day, & must be purchased on the same day it’s announced (they don’t carry over to the next day). You can order daily. They often sell out by noon so be quick if you want the BOGO of the day! Depending on the week, you can typically order 3-5 BOGOs per home per day (we’ll let you know the max). If you’re already a member, order through your LRP cart (the Loyalty Rewards Program) to get your shipping FREE! If your daily order is higher than 50pv you’ll also earn at least 10% back in free product points.

DAILY GIVEAWAYS!

Each morning look for a post early in the day sharing the BOGO of the day. When you complete your daily BOGO order just post a pic of your order in the comments of that post. If you order 2 BOGOs, you get 2 ENTRIES for that days drawing, etc!

THE BEST WAY TO ORDER THE DAILY BOGO:

Through your Loyalty Rewards Cart! If you're already on LRP, then you have a monthly order template already in place. For BOGO week - you'll want to add an additional LRP order template just for BOGOs. So on BOGO day, you create a new LRP & add that day's BOGO oil to your LRP cart. It's smart to add enough of that day's BOGO to get your order total up to 50pv so you earn additional free product points! Then click 'Process Today'. After you've clicked the ‘Process Today’ button, go back to your LRP templates & delete that BOGO template you just shipped off. You'll do the same thing each of the 5 days of the BOGO week! (Your monthly LRP template will stay intact for next month)

 ✅ Edit photos within BOGO kit to reflect current BOGO week

 ✅ Change facebook oil community cover photo (if you have your own group)

 ✅ Update BOGO landing page of website + page it links to (this might be a Google Doc for you)

 ✅ Update pop up on website to be BOGO (if you have a website)

 ✅ Instagram grid post linking to landing page (this landing page could be your Google Doc)

 ✅ Post to Insta Stories + add them to Oil Promo highlight button

 ✅ Newsletter announcing - here’s an example

 ✅ Do a LIVE in Fb Leader group linking BOGO kit + share best tips (you don’t have to have your own group for this - your upline probably has one, so offer to work on this together)

 ✅ Add my new personal enrollments to VIP FB group + welcome them to the wall

 ✅ Offer weekend promo for those in the VIP group that enroll (free Oil Life book)
